Update for the week and current blood counts.....

Just wanted to give you a quick update and current blood counts for the week. Ariauna had her blood drawn on Wednesday this week because of the 4th of July Holiday on Thursday. Our normal Home Health Care nurse was out of town so we had Dillon come again.  Primary's called us on friday to let us know what her blood levels were.  Her Hemoglobin is 10.3, her platelets are 23,000 and her ANC is 500.  Yay, the blood transfusion helped. Hopefully now she can just keep stable and not drop to quickly so we can get to Minnesota without another transfusion.

Our week this week was as crazy as usual. Ariauna is still busy trying to squeeze in every play date possible and we are busy, busy trying to get things ready to go out of town for 4-5 months and Jerry is busy, busy working in the basement trying to get a room done so Ariauna can have her own room when she comes home from transplant.  Our week started off with a sleepover at our house with her cousin MeKenzie who is visiting from Colorado. We rented some movies from the redbox and played board games all day on Monday. On Tuesday Ariauna slept over at her friend Meaghan's. Sadie went on a date with the Bressler's so I took advantage of no girls and went birthday shopping for them. Here is Ariauna and her friends Meaghan and Trinity making bracelets.
On Wednesday the Home Health nurse Dillon came and drew her labs and changed her dressing on her PICC line. Ashlyn Whiting came to play at our house and the girls had lots of fun playing with her. On July 4th we all slept in, and it was nice for a change. It was nice to have daddy home from work for the day and he spent most of the day working in the basement. We had a special visitor come see us on the 4th of July too. A dear friend and neighbor, Jill Story had offered to make Ariauna some bows and headbands for when she loses her hair. Jill brought them over and Ariauna was so excited, there was so many of them. She also made Ariauna a special holder for her bows to "travel" with. She picked a beautiful butterfly material to make it out of because "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was coming to an end, it turned into a butterfly. It was so sweet of Jill and I had myself a good little cry after she left and I read the beautiful card she had given to us. I am so thankful for people like her who are thinking about us and Ariauna's fear of losing her hair. We have had a few people make us some special things for when she loses her hair to help her feel better and more beautiful. Thank you so much Jill for the beautiful bows and bow holder. If you are interested in any of these cute bows you can find them on her face book page at Pretty Little Bows by Jillbird and it will give you a link to her Etsy shop.

Later on that night we had some family over for pizza and games and ended the night with the Magna Fireworks. Jaxon kept saying "It scare me, It scare me." when the fireworks went off. He finally got used to the noise and enjoyed the rest of the show.

Friday night we kidnapped MeKenzie again and took her with us to the drive in movie. We went and saw Dispicable Me and Man of Steel. We had a great time. There is just something about watching a movie in the back of the truck!

The rest of the weekend we spent cleaning house and working in the basement. Daddy and Austin got all of the plumbing in the basement moved. It was a busy weekend, but a very productive one.
